As the nights draw in and the temperatures drop, there’s nothing more tempting than curling up in front of a crackling fire and escaping from the world. Autumn is the season for cosy nights in, comforting family meals and relaxed dinner parties with friends. Turn your home into a welcoming haven of laughter, light and warmth that no one wants to leave.

Cosy fabrics, warm, earthy tones combined with vintage deco are the design trends that you can expect to be huge this autumn.

As we still adjust to making our homes multi-functional spaces following the Covid-19 Pandemic, many are reassessing their interiors to reflect the changes of the past year. Autumn conjures up images of warm earthy neutrals that can make you feel like you are sitting next to an open fire, or walking through woodland with fallen rust leaves beneath your feet. The stunning autumn orange creates warmth and blends extremely well with soft neutrals such as sand and grey tones. Pumpkin spiced lattes are not just a delicious coffee, it is also the perfect describtion of an Autumnal colour scheme! Embrace the season by adding cosy fabrics and natural textiles to your interior. Everyone loves a comfy throw!!

With ‘Cottagecore’ – yes, I said it!!! an eclectic modern design trends becoming increasingly popular, it will be no surprise that vintage, bespoke, and personalised homewares are going to be huge this Autumn. It is the season to look through your grandmother’s house for some hidden treasures.  Or why not upcycle that old dresser you have been meaning to get to all Summer?  It is time to sit back and breath, to take a moment to make your home your haven from the outside world!!

Autumn is the perfect season full of colour, comfort and most of all it comes with the promise of Christmas – just around the corner!!
